Adopt-A-Street Program

Street Transportation Services Impacted by Coronavirus

As a public health precaution due to COVID-19 (coronavirus), the City of Phoenix is closing certain offices to the public. Our goal is to continue providing excellent service to you while protecting against the spread of illness. Critical business can be done by appointment only.

For assistance, please contact the Adopt-A-Street Coordinator at 602-495-7817 during normal business hours or email adopt.a.street@phoenix.gov.

These are necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. This guidance will be updated as needed. We look forward to serving you in person as soon as we can.

For the latest on COVID-19, go to cdc.gov/covid-19.

For information about other city services go to phoenix.gov/newsroom.

The Adopt-A-Street program enables community organizations, private businesses and individuals to maintain and beautify Phoenix streets.  Curious where you can adopt a street? Click on the ADOPT-A-STREET Sign or the Adopt-A-Street link below to see what street segments are still available!

To participate in the Adopt-a-Street program, volunteers agree to adopt one-mile segments of a major or collector street and agree to remove trash/debris a minimum of four times per year for at least a two-year period.

In recognition of the trash/debris removal efforts, the city will make and install signs crediting participants for their commitment to the program and community.

For more information on how to adopt a street, refer to the ADOPT-A-STREET Map for more information on available streets ready for adoption. The information packet can be found on the top menu bar of the Adopt-A-Street map.
