SNAP Time-Limited Support Initiative

Focused, high‑impact guidance to help individuals and families successfully participate in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

The City of Phoenix Human Services Department is offering a SNAP Navigation Support initiative to help residents apply for SNAP and comply with its requirements. Services provided will include targeted assistance at key points in the process: applications, recertifications, and work‑requirement compliance, to reduce benefit loss and increase successful SNAP submissions.

Please note: The City of Phoenix does not determine eligibility, approve benefits, or administer SNAP. All applications and renewals are processed by the Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES).

How We Can Help

  • One‑on‑one assistance completing your SNAP application
  • Help gathering and organizing required documents
  • Guidance on how to submit your application to DES
  • Support for follow‑up steps after submission, if needed

Our goal is to make the process easier, clearer, and less stressful, ensuring residents are prepared to submit a well‑organized application to DES.
