¡Sombra! Celebration of Shade Closing Event

¡Sombra! artists, project partners, and the public are invited to Memorial Hall at Steele Indian School Park on September 20 to celebrate the culmination of ¡Sombra! Experiments in Shade, an innovative public art project developed by the Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture to address extreme heat in Phoenix. Learn about the nine temporary shade structures and meet the artists who created them while enjoying complimentary food and drinks from local vendors. The event will also feature the premiere of the ¡Sombra! Experiments in Shade documentary.
