IN THEIR SHOES® is an interactive activity that helps young people understand dating violence and healthy relationships. Participants follow one of six teen characters, each based on real situations involving issues like technology abuse, pregnancy, homophobia, and stalking, and make choices as they navigate friends, family, and support systems. Used nationally, this activity sparks meaningful conversations and builds awareness, empathy, and safety skills in a supportive environment.
This program is presented as part of Paint Phoenix Purple: Domestic Violence Awareness Month. It is presented in partnership with City of Phoenix Human Services - Victim Services Department.
