Live Christmas Trees Accepted For Composting (FREE!)

The Public Works Department offers Phoenix residents several drop-off locations for their live Christmas trees. Only live trees, wreaths, and garlands are accepted -- nothing plastic or artificial. Trees or wreaths may be dropped off at any of the sites listed here (during normal business hours) anytime between Friday, Dec. 26, 2025 and Friday, Jan. 9, 2026. Please only place trees in designated drop-off areas.

Certain disposal requirements apply. Please make sure your tree is stripped of all non-organic material. Trees and wreaths will be composted at the City of Phoenix Compost Facility.
