Solid Waste Rate Community Info Session

The Public Works Department recently proposed an increase to the monthly residential solid waste rate to keep pace with rising operating costs. At this community info session, department staff will explain why a rate increase is needed and how it would be implemented. Residents will have a chance to have their questions answered and to give feedback through a customer survey.

Spanish interpretation will be available.

Small Lithium-Ion Batteries Accepted
During this community meeting, Public Works will be accepting small (2 inches or smaller) lithium-ion batteries or button batteries for disposal at no charge. We will NOT be accepting damaged, swollen,  alkaline, lead-acid, or other large batteries at this event.
