Make-And-Take Family Day

S’edav Va’aki Museum invites visitors to celebrate Indigenous People’s Day early at our Make-and-Take Family Day! On October 12^th, 2025, from 12:00PM to 3:00PM, families can visit the museum to learn about the Ancestral Sonoran Desert People and engage in fun interactive activities.

Because S’edav Va’aki Museum is closed on Indigenous People’s Day for the federal holiday, the museum is collaborating with Cahokia and the Indigenous People’s Day Nite Market to start the celebrations early. During the Make-and-Take Family Day, families can visit the museum to make crafts inspired by the desert and Southwestern cultures, stop by an artifact show-and-tell station, try their hand at the museum’s new scavenger hunt bingo, and complete missions through the Agents of Discovery Augmented Reality mobile game.
