Parched: Speaker Series - Life Extended

Get ready for the next installment of our Thursday evening programming, 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱: 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀!

Join us on May 14, 2026, at 6pm in the S’ed̲av Va’aki Community Room for a very special guest lecture featuring Debra Edgerton, the artist behind Life Extended that is on display at the museum.

The Parched speaker series showcases artists featured in the changing exhibit at SVM, which explores the role of water in the Southwest through an artistic lens.

Debra Edgerton holds MFAs in Painting and Interdisciplinary Art from the San Francisco Art Institute and Vermont College of Fine Art. Debra is an Assistant Professor at Northern Arizona University, and her award-winning watercolors have been exhibited nationally and internationally.
