In Their Shoes Presentations

Scenario-based training designed to help participants talk about what dating is like for today’s teens – from their perspective.  Participants will become teen characters, make choices about their relationship, and see what happens.  The activity generates discussion about characteristics of unhealthy relationships and what opportunities/resources exist to support those experiencing them.

The Strategic Initiatives team works closely with youth serving organizations and local high schools to provide education and awareness on all of the campaigns and initiatives.

We engage our youth throughout the year by conducting presentations on teen dating violence, healthy relationships, social media safety, sex trafficking and
consent, coordinating resource fairs and sponsoring awareness-themed sporting events and contests.

If you are interested in hosting a free youth presentation or if you would like additional information, call, text or email tammy.rivera@phoenix.gov  602-292-3415.
