April is Fair Housing Month

Phoenix City Code protects people from being discriminated against in a housing-related transaction, including rental housing, home purchases, insurance, residential financing, and advertising. It is unlawful for persons to be discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, disability, national origin, familial status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or source of income.
The Phoenix Equal Opportunity Department offers resources and assistance for those who believe they have been discriminated against.
Join the City of Phoenix in spreading awareness and providing residents with information on how to recognize housing discrimination.
