Phoenix Celebrates Fair Housing Month
Join the City of Phoenix in spreading awareness and providing residents with information on how to recognize housing discrimination.
Phoenix City Code protects residents from discrimination in housing-related transactions, including rental housing, home purchases, insurance, residential financing, and advertising. It is unlawful for persons to be discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, disability, national origin, familial status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or source of income.
Anyone who believes they have been discriminated against can contact the Equal Opportunity Department to speak to a representative for more information or referrals.
For more information or to file a housing discrimination complaint, visit phoenix.gov/fairhousing.
