Celebrating the New Sports Courts at Pierce Park

On Saturday, August 22, the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department, along with Mayor Kate Gallego, community members, and partners, celebrated the grand opening of the new sports courts and upgraded amenities at Pierce Park.

The park upgrades include:

• Six new pickleball courts
• Two new tennis courts
• New LED court lighting
• Renovated basketball and volleyball courts
• Renovated parking lot
• New drinking fountains
• Sidewalks connecting to the sports courts
• New benches and picnic tables
