Police Public Records and Vehicle Impound Services Moving to New Headquarters
The Phoenix Police Department continues its move into the new Police Headquarters at 100 W. Washington Street, and we’re excited to share the next step in that transition. Our commitment to customer service remains at the center of everything we do, and this move will help us better serve the community.
The next major phase is the relocation of our Public Records Bureau. Beginning March 9, 2026, the Public Records team will start moving into the new headquarters. To keep operations running smoothly, the move will take place in stages, with small groups transitioning at a time. This approach helps ensure that service to the public is not interrupted and that staff can adjust efficiently to the new workspace.
During this period, the lobby at 1717 E. Grant St. will remain open for both Public Records and Vehicle Impound services through March 27, 2026. We want to make sure community members can continue to access what they need without disruption.
Public Records and Vehicle Impound services will officially reopen to the public at the new headquarters on March 30, 2026. We look forward to welcoming the community to the new location and continuing to provide responsive, reliable service.
Because staff and equipment will be in transition during these two weeks, in‑person and phone service may be limited. To ensure the fastest service, we strongly encourage the community to use the online portal or contact them by email:
Online Portal: Phoenix Police Public Records · Customer Self‑Service
Email: policepublicrecords@phoenix.gov
Phone: 602-534-1127
The team will continue processing requests throughout the move, and we appreciate everyone’s patience while we get settled into the new space.
