Phoenix Public Library Honors the Wallace and Ladmo Show with Special Edition Library Card
Phoenix Public Library will celebrate one of Arizona’s most iconic television traditions with the unveiling of a special edition “The Wallace and Ladmo Show” library card from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 25 at Burton Barr Central Library.
The event highlights the cultural significance of The Wallace and Ladmo Show, a beloved local program that entertained families for more than 35 years and played a formative role in shaping Arizona’s shared cultural identity.
Community members are invited to join library staff, fans, and special guests — including original cast member Pat McMahon, members of the Wallace and Ladmo families, and Wallace and Ladmo Foundation representatives — for a celebration featuring storytelling, memories, and a first look at the new special edition library card.
Attendees can explore a curated display showcasing rare Wallace and Ladmo memorabilia, participate in family-friendly activities, enjoy giveaways, and discover surprises throughout the event. Guests will also have the chance to sign up for the commemorative library card.
Created in collaboration with the Wallace and Ladmo Foundation, this special edition card commemorates the show’s lasting legacy and reflects Phoenix Public Library’s commitment to honoring local history and strengthening community connections.
