Phoenix Public Library Offers Free Blood Pressure Kits for Checkout
Phoenix Public Library is expanding access to health resources with the addition of American Heart Association Blood Pressure Kits, now available for checkout at 15 library locations across the city.
These kits allow residents to monitor their blood pressure at home using a clinically validated Omron BP7250 blood pressure monitor. Each Blood Pressure Kit includes an arm cuff, electronic monitor, quick start guide, instruction manual and blood pressure logs. Materials are bilingual in English and Spanish at all participating locations, except for Agave Library, which offers bilingual English and Chinese (Mandarin) materials.
Kits can be checked out for free with a Phoenix Public Library card by requesting one at the service desk of a participating location, while supplies last. Blood Pressure Kits check out for a three-week period and are not renewable or holdable and must be returned to a service desk inside the owning library location during open hours and may not be returned through book drops.
By offering Blood Pressure Kits, Phoenix Public Library continues to support community wellness by providing free access to tools and resources that promote informed, healthy living.
