Open during the summer months, City of Phoenix pools are a great place to learn how to swim, attend a special event, exercise or just cool off.


Registration for summer 2020 swimming lessons and aquatics programs, scheduled for April 30, has been postponed. Statement about City Pools Opening this Summer​


City of Phoenix pools offer a variety of swimming lessons, programs and activities for every age and ability level.



Statement about City Pools Opening this Summer​

Phoenix's 29 public pools are open six days a week seasonally from Memorial Day weekend through July (closed Fridays).

These 11 pools - Cortez, El Prado, Encanto, Falcon, Hermoso, Maryvale, Paradise Valley, Pecos, Perry, Sunnyslope and Washington - are open on weekends only in August through Labor Day.

City splashpads are open seasonally the last Saturday in May through October 1, and are located in Altadena, Civic Space, Dust Devil, Edison, Francisco Highland, Mountain Vista, Nuestro, Pecos and Trailside Point parks.
