The award-winning PHXTV is one of the top local cable stations in the country, reaching more than  300,000 households throughout the Valley. It provides quality programs that educate, inform and entertain residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week such as:

  • City Council Policy and Formal Meetings where residents can see live streaming coverage of their city government in action.

  • On the Issues featuring Phoenix City Council members and keeping residents informed about issues, programs and activities in their district.

  • Building Phoenix and Destination Phoenix-Sky Harbor Airport  that provide an inside view of how the Planning and Development and Aviation departments operate.

PHXTV airs its programming on Cox Cable Channel 11, on the city website and  on YouTube.  Follow PHXTV on Twitter and visit our website for program replay times and to view programs on demand.

PHXTV Classroom

PHXTV Classroom is the city’s youth and education cable channel and broadcasts quality programming, offering an array of educational resources for teachers and lifelong learners.  The channel also produces positive news stories about youth and education in our Phoenix community. These productions have included:

  • Icons in Education: highlighting individuals who have made a difference in the education community.  Betty Fairfax, Caroline Warner, Eugene Grigsby, Lattie Coor, Eddie & Nadine Basha, Sandra Day O’Connor.

  • Cool in Your Zip: produced in cooperation with PHX11, highlights cool places to visit in Phoenix zip codes.

  • World Record Basketball Dribbler: Joseph Odiahmbo, a 5th grade teacher in Phoenix made the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest time dribbling a basketball at one time. He uses his skill to engage students in class. (*more than 4 million views on youtube)
