Testing Process

Working as a Police Communications Operator requires fast typing, active listening, decision making, priority assessment, and multi-tasking. All of these skills can be improved with practice. In order to be successful in the hiring process we recommend you practice and do your research before applying.

Typing

40 words per minute (NET) is required in order to pass Step 2 in the process. The test is from dictation.
