The city of Phoenix Green Business Leader program promotes businesses that voluntarily operate in an environmentally responsible, sustainable manner.

Businesses that volunteer receive many benefits to be a part of the Green Business Leader program. This program started through the Public Works Department's Reimagine Phoenix initiative. The initiative drives the city's public goal to increase its waste diversion rate to 40 percent by 2020.
