This cleanup is part of the comprehensive 27th Avenue Community Safety and Crime Prevention Plan. Volunteers and residents are encouraged to join the Councilwoman on Saturday, March 25th from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. The cleanup will kick off at the old K-mart on Northern Avenue. The City has recently acquired the property and will redevelop it into a workforce and educational center called Innovation 27.</span> </div> <div> <span style="font-size:13.3333px;"> <br> </span> </div> <div> <span style="font-size:13.3333px;">This event is a fantastic opportunity for the City and surrounding neighborhood groups to work together and improve the safety and quality of life along 27th Avenue, near the Black Canyon Highway. </span> </div> <div> <span style="font-size:13.3333px;"> <br> </span> </div> <div> <span style="font-size:13.3333px;">"I am proud of the ongoing efforts led by the residents and the City to ensure our neighborhoods remain safe and active," said Councilwoman Guardado.
