The Office of Environmental Programs advances environmental protection and sustainability through coordination with City departments and the community.

The Office of Environmental Programs provides environmental compliance support, provides specialized training, coordinates with regulatory agencies, and develops programs and policies to guide City activities and the interaction of those activities with our urban and natural environment.

Food Systems Grant Now Open!

This grant program will provide awards of up to $20,000 to support projects that empower Phoenix residents to grow, access, cook, share, and eat healthy, affordable, and culturally relevant food. The submission period for the 2027 grant cycle is open through August 31st, 2026 at 5PM.
