Urban Heat Island/Tree and Shade Subcommittee
The Environmental Quality and Sustainability Commission created the Urban Heat Island/Tree and Shade Subcommittee in 2018 and again in 2020. The purpose of the subcommittee was to evaluate, analyze and recommend policies for urban heat and implementation of the Phoenix Tree and Shade Master Plan.
The subcommittee sunset in December 2022 and is no longer active.
