Want to return to nature on November 8th? Nature Fest PHX has some great options for your family:

8am – River Clean Up! Participate in a river clean up and watch how your actions give a big boost to our river!

9:15am – Birding Walk for the Wild. Join the first Walk for the Wild of the day with Audubon and learn about birding from the experts. Take photos and share the birds you find as you participate in this 3K walk. With over 150 species of birds identified at the Rio Salado Habitat Restoration Area, you never know what you might see! 

10:45am and 1:00pm – Plant for Pollinators! Join the City of Phoenix Parks Department to plant small native plants that will help our pollinator friends in Phoenix. With plant sizes just 1 to 3-gallons, even your little ones can help put some plants in the ground for our butterflies, birds, and bees. 

11:30am – FitPHX Walk for the Wild. Join the final 3K Walk for the Wild of the day in partnership with FitPHX! Want the opportunity to raise your heart rate while enjoying nature? This is the walk for you. Have small kids? Don’t let that stop you! Bring your strollers and join instructor Paulina Cota with Eleva Mindset as she leads a fitness Walk for the Wild!

Nature Fest PHX Prize Drawings!

Did you know that almost anything you do at Nature Fest PHX can earn you tickets for the regular prize drawings that will occur throughout the event? Visit all the community partner tables? Ticket! Help with the river clean up? Ticket! Engage in the Art Zone? Ticket!

Having fun and earning the chance to win cool prizes? Nothing better than that!

Prizes include Phoenix Zoo tickets, Butterfly Wonderland tickets, Maricopa County Parks passes, Desert Botanical Garden annual membership, and Dig It Gardens gift cards.

Prize Drawing Details:

  • Tickets are received by participating in event activities, completing the Explorer passport, participating in the art zone, or attending a show in the Nature Nook.
  • Take your tickets to the emcee at the Nature Nook before each drawing to be entered for that drawing.
  • Tickets collected prior to each drawing will be discarded after the drawing and a new set of tickets will be collected for the next drawing.
  • MUST BE PRESENT AND HAVE YOUR SIDE OF THE TICKET TO WIN.
  • Winning ticket numbers not claimed at the time of drawing will be written on a white board and the winning ticket holder can claim the prize up until 1:45pm. At 1:45pm, any unclaimed prizes will be placed back in the pool for the final prize drawing at 1:55pm.
