Due to forecasted monsoon storms, free sand for sandbags is now available on a first-come, first-serve basis at nine City of Phoenix Parks.

Construction to begin Spring 2026
Lone Mountain Park construction is underway! A sign has been posted at the location, sharing details about the upcoming project.
The new park will include the installation of pickleball, tennis, basketball and sand volleyball courts. Including a baseball field, multi-use sports field, walking trails, playground area, skate plaza, three tier dog park, splash pad, shade structures, and restroom buildings.
The project will begin Spring 2026 and is estimated to be complete in Fall 2027.
