Food Grants Available to Non-Profits, Small Businesses and Organizations

The City of Phoenix invites non-profits, small businesses, educational institutions, neighborhood associations, and other organizations that work within the City's food system to apply for the Office of Environmental Programs Food Systems Grant.

The Food Systems Grant will provide up to $20,000 to organizations that work within the city of Phoenix to implement projects that empower Phoenix residents to grow, access, cook, share, and eat healthy, affordable, and culturally relevant food.

This grant aims to support community-level projects that deliver substantial, direct benefit to the public by addressing inequity, meeting community needs and, ultimately, increasing food access. The Food Systems Grant Program aligns with the City of Phoenix’s 2030 Food Action Plan and will fund projects that help create a just, equitable, and resilient local food system.

Applications are now open through Monday August 31st at 5:00PM. The submission process consists of an online application form and a written application.
