City Program Helps Businesses and Non-Profit Remediate Contaminated Sites
The Office of Environmental Programs (OEP) is excited to share with our partners a new financing tool that we have at the City of Phoenix. OEP has launched an EPA-funded Brownfields Revolving Loan fund that provides loans and grants specifically for cleanup costs (soil and groundwater cleanup) at environmentally contaminated properties, which can also be used for asbestos abatement in buildings. Loans are available at a low interest rate of 3% to private, for-profit entities. Grants are available for non-profits. Find out more below or at our website www.phoenix.gov/oep/brownfield.
