From Sunday, May 10 through Tuesday, May 12. For public safety, certain hiking trails are restricted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Restaurants Eligible for Grant to Reduce Food Waste
Project REDUCE helps local Phoenix restaurants prevent food loss and waste. In its third year, Project REDUCE will award restaurants with $1,000 micro-grants to implement simple, convenient, and innovative food waste prevention projects.
Restaurants participating in Project REDUCE will receive hands-on guidance, training, and technical assistance from a local Chef, Chris Lenza.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until June 30, 2026, so apply now!
Two information listening sessions will be available for interested restaurants to ask questions and further develop applications:
Information Listening Session 1: Wednesday June 3, 2026 at 10 a.m.
Information Listening Session 2: Monday June 15, 2026 at 3 p.m.
