PHOENIX — Beginning Monday, Oct. 26, riders will see transit service changes across the Valley, including expanded weekday RAPID service, the launch of the PHXLink microtransit pilot in Phoenix and schedule adjustments to several Valley Metro routes.

Phoenix Public Transit will launch PHXLink, a new on-demand, shared-ride microtransit pilot connecting riders to local destinations and other transit services. Riders can book a trip through the PHXLink mobile app or by phone and meet their vehicle at a nearby virtual stop. Trips within the PHXLink service zones are $2. Learn more at the pop-up meetings Oct. 20, 21 and 22.

Weekday service will expand on the I-10 West RAPID and I-17 RAPID routes, with inbound and outbound trips available throughout the day from 5 a.m.-7 p.m. The expanded service provides riders with more travel options beyond traditional commute times.

Beginning Oct. 26, reduced fare will also be available for eligible riders on RAPID and Express routes. Reduced-fare Copper Card holders or app users will not need to take any action as their accounts will be updated automatically. Learn more at valleymetro.org/fares.
