Each Tuesday from October 15 to December 3, professional fitness instructors will lead calorie burning classes such as Turbo Kick LIVE, Zumba, P90X LIVE, PiYo, HIGH Fitness, Core de Force Live and more. The workouts are fun, interactive and designed to get people moving, and are set to popular music. Participants are encouraged to bring their own water, towel and mat (optional). Local health and wellness vendors will be on-site each week to provide giveaways. Free public parking is available. Enjoy an archaeological presentation by Dr. Chris Downum at 715 p.m. Walk in the footprints of those who came before us by experiencing both prehistoric and modern stories of life in the southwest. With your help, the story continues. Visit the Three-Part Exhibit Explore three exhibits at the Pueblo Grande Museum, the Phoenix Airport Museum, and The Gallery at Phoenix City Hall. Each gallery will highlight historical themes and artifacts from pottery to archaeological tools. The galleries will open to the public on October 18, 2019 at all three locations. PGM​

​The Desert West Community Center, located in the park of the same name, is a full-service, all ages community center that features a full-size gymnasium; a teen Room; a multi-Purpose Room that seats up to 300 people theater style; classrooms; and a fitness room.  The center also offers a wide range of classes, sports leagues and programs.
