7th Avenue and Mountain View Road Improvements

Description

This project will make sidewalk and street improvements on 7th Avenue from Mountain View Road to Cheryl Drive and on Mountain View Road from 7th Avenue to 3rd Drive.  The project includes constructing new sidewalks where none currently exist, reconstructing and widening existing sidewalks to meet new city ADA standards, installing new ADA sidewalk ramps, constructing new driveways and reconstructing existing driveways, installing curb and gutter, street paving, removing and replacing catch basins, relocating fire hydrants and installing new LED streetlights. It will also include a 10-foot-wide multi-use path along the east side of 7th Avenue from Mountain View Road to Cheryl Drive.  A signalized pedestrian crossing ​​(HAWK) will be installed at 7th Avenue and Cheryl Drive to facilitate the movement of pedestrians and bicyclists across 7th Avenue.
