Human Services Commission
The Human Services Commission serves as an advisory body to the Phoenix City Council on matters related to social services and community well-being. Its primary focus is ensuring that residents have access to essential services and resources that improve their quality of life, especially for vulnerable populations.

Head Start Policy Council
The Head Start Policy Council provides shared governance for the Head Start and Early Head Start programs. Parents participate in policy-making decisions about the program. The Policy Council advises and assists the Phoenix City Council Subcommittee and the Human Services Department in initiating, developing and sustaining policies, programs and services to meet the needs of children.
Policy Council meetings are held on the second Monday of each month.

Domestic Violence Fatality Review Team (DVFRT)
DVFRT Team is comprised of representatives from the criminal justice system, advocacy community, municipal government, and other community resources.
Mission: To examine domestic violence fatalities in order to better understand the dynamics of such deaths and to make recommendations for prevention and system improvements related to domestic violence.

Fast Track Cities Ad-Hoc Committee
The mission of the Fast Track ad hoc is to strengthen HIV programs and leverage resources in order to end AIDS as a public health threat by 2030. The ad hoc is working to strengthen and leverage existing HIV related programs and resources, in order to achieve "95-95-95-0" goal by 2030.

Human Trafficking Task Force Committee
The Task Force and workgroups also defined a strategic work plan consisting of four areas providing the strategic support to realize the world-class, community-wide Compass Plan to establish the City of Phoenix as a model in addressing and combating human trafficking. The four areas are: Community Awareness and Outreach, Training, Law Enforcement and Victim Services.
