The City of Phoenix currently has a vacancy for an Infrastructure Services Manager (ISM) to lead the infrastructure team. In this role, you will report to the Assistant Chief Information Officer of the Technology Services Division (TSD) within the Water Services Department (WSD). The ISM is a senior-level, hands-on technical leadership position responsible for managing the daily operations of a high-performing infrastructure team supporting a large, complex enterprise environment. This includes direct responsibility for managing and troubleshooting server administration, storage, virtualization, patching, backups, directory services, endpoint management, automation, and the deployment of infrastructure technologies to support critical business operations.

This is a hands-on, technical role where you will be expected to personally resolve complex infrastructure and hardware issues, acting as the senior escalation point for your team. You will be directly involved in the technical work, providing expert guidance, performing advanced troubleshooting, and ensuring operational reliability. Candidates must have a current and relevant background demonstrating significant hands-on experience with complex enterprise systems and infrastructure technologies. This experience should be clearly detailed in your résumé and will be validated throughout the recruitment process.
