Councilman Kevin Robinson's Statement on Approval of the Community Transparency Initiative

"Today, my colleagues and I voted to approve and adopt the Community Transparency Initiative (CTI). The tenets of the CTI align with my and the City’s commitment to just policing.

I have often been critical of recent law enforcement practices, face coverings and lack of officer training. Although federal jurisdiction allows their enforcement in our City, CTI is an effective and legally sound compromise that will help build trust between the public and local law enforcement."
