PHOENIX — I am honored that my colleagues on the Phoenix City Council have selected me to serve as the Vice Mayor of the City of Phoenix.
Serving as Vice Mayor is a profound responsibility, and I am deeply grateful for the trust my fellow Councilmembers have placed in me. I look forward to working closely with Mayor Kate Gallego and my Council colleagues to advance policies that strengthen our neighborhoods, expand opportunity, and ensure Phoenix remains a city where all residents can thrive.
Since being sworn in to represent District 8 almost three years ago, my work has been grounded in advocating for increasing housing options, expanding economic opportunity, ensuring community safety, and safeguarding equitable access to resources for residents across Phoenix. As Vice Mayor, I remain committed to raising the voices of our residents and building collaborative, community-driven solutions that move our city forward.
I look forward to this next chapter of service and continuing our work together on behalf of you, the Phoenix residents.
