On those days, the park’s main roadway will be closed to motor vehicle traffic at the one-mile mark into the park from 5 to 10 a.m. on the first, second, third and fifth Sunday; and from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. (park operating hours) on the fourth Sunday. During those times on those days, the park’s roadways are reserved for non-motorized activities such as walking, cycling, jogging, hiking, etc. On Silent Sunday, park visitors who would like to park near the main Central Ave. entrance can do so in the Activity Complex, which can be accessed just inside the entry gate and within proximity to several popular trails and the South Mountain Environmental Education Center . These programs are free, but registration is required. Registered participants will receive a unique code to virtually join the live video stream via Zoom. Participants will also need to download the free Zoom app through the iTunes or Android store, or search for and download it through their internet service provider. FitPHX Virtual Morning Yoga Morning Yoga, presented in partnership with Sutra Studios , is designed for all ages and experience levels. It will be held every second Saturday of the month from February 13 to December 11. Jump start your day, wake up your body and get your energy flowing.
