APS and SRP Time of Use Electricity Savings Plans             

You can lower your charging costs depending on who your electrical service provider is, with an APS or SRP special pricing program.  The programs base your electric rate on when you're charging.  The rates are lower overnight (off peak) and on weekends and higher rates at high-demand times such as weekday mornings and evenings.  See the following weblinks for more pricing details.

Federal Tax Credit

All-electric and plug-in hyrbrid vehicles purchased new in or after 2010 may be eligible for a federal income tax credit of up to $7,500 until 200,000 eligible vehicles per manufacture are registered in the United States.  The credit amount will vary based on the capacity of the battery used to power the vehicle.  State and/or local incentives may also apply. https://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/taxevb.shtml

                                                                         

Charging Station Tax Credits and Incentives

Federal Tax Credit - Up to $1,000

The U.S. Federal Tax Credit gives individuals 30% off of a qualified home charging station plus installation costs (up to $1,000) and up to $30,000 for commercial installations.  You must purchase and install the qualified home charging unit by December 31, 2020 as well as claim the credit on your federal tax return.

Arizona Public Service (APS) EVSE Pilot Program ) - Take Charge AZ

The APS Take Charge AZ pilot programs offer free EV charging equipment, as well as installation and maintenance to businesses, government agencies, non-profits and multi-family communities.  Participants will pay for any electric costs that result from using the equipment.  Program applicants my be placed on a wait list if the pilot program becomes full. https://www.aps.com/en/About/Sustainability-and-Innovation/Technology-and-Innovation/Electric-vehicles/Take-Charge-AZ

Salt River Project (SRP) Workplace EV Charger Rebate

Salt River Project offers a rebate to business customers who purchase and install a Level 2 EV charger for use by their employees.  The rebate is $1,500 for each networked EV charging port installed at a business, limited to 12 per business.  Rebates are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  https://savewithsrpbiz.com/rebates/evcharger.aspx
