Submit a Sewer Fee Review

The process of a Sewer Fee Review is to make adjustments to your sewer fee based on a higher than ususal use of water, such as when a customer empties then refills their pool during the process of cleanng, or if there is a spike in water usage caused by broken plumbing or outdoor irrigation equipment. 

To start the process of a Sewer Fee Review, follow the instructions listed below. The preferred process is to submit the request through the city's Sewer Fee Review section on the myPHX311 system. Please note that any attachments must be in non-editable format such as PDF.  Photographs or screen-captures of documents are not acceptable. If you cannot use the online system, download the form here ​and submit it by mail. ​The sewer appeal process for 2026 is now open. Also note that the 2026 sewer appeal is for the January, February and March 2026 billing cycle.  Sewer adjustments cannot be made for prior years.​

​IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Requests received more than 60 days of the July bill date shall not be eligible for review. Pursuant to Phoenix City Code 28-35, exceptions will not be granted. Review requests may be submitted prior to the July billing period.
