The Equal Opportunity Department investigates discrimination complaints for employment, housing, public accommodation and accessibility.

  • Fair Housing

    Complaints and investigations regarding discrimination in rental housing, home purchases, home insurance, residential financing and advertising.

  • Employment

    Complaints and investigations regarding discrimination in City employment and small employers, less than 15 employees in the City of Phoenix.

  • Public Accommodation

    Complaints and investigations regarding discrimination in restaurants, hotels, movie theaters, doctor's offices, etc.

  • Accessibility

    Complaints and investigations if you believe a business or public facility denied people with disabilities fair access to its programs or services.
