Water Resources Acquisition Fees
Water Resources Acquisition Fees (WRAF) are paid by new developments to pay its proportionate share of the costs to the city associated with making water supplies available to new development. WRAF are calculated by meter size and location of the proposed development within the city. Currently, the city has two WRAF areas: On-Project and Off-Project.
The Water Resources Acquisition Fees were updated on June 23, 2025. To see the fees and related map visit the Planning and Development Department Impact Fee page.
The fee schedule shows WRAF charges for the following land use categories: single-family, multifamily, 'non-residential', and landscape meters. The residential categories (single-family and multifamily) are charged based on the number of living units. The non-residential and landscape meter categories are charged based on the meter size and type.
