Energize Eight Campaign
In August, I launched Energize Eight, a community initiative where we met to have solution-driven conversations about the issues facing District 8. Many have expressed that their concerns are not being heard. The intent of Energize Eight was to provide neighborhood leaders and other community members with an organized forum to voice their concerns, have small group discussions about the issues with Department representatives, learn what steps are in progress, and make their own recommendations. My goal was to find common ground on how to address key issues facing our communities. To provide flexibility for constituents, there were three opportunities to participate at South Mountain Library, Saguaro Library, and at the Laveen Education Center.
On this page, you will find information on documents we shared during our Energize Eight meetings, the feedback we received from constituents, and any additional updates we have on matters discussed during the Energize Eight meetings.
