Providing safe, decent and affordable housing for your family is critical. The city of Phoenix offers programs that serve families who are doing the best they can to provide a good home for their children. The rental units range from apartments to single-family homes. Because we also know families come in all sizes, we offer one-bedroom units up to five-bedroom homes.
Families have several housing options:
Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCV) - HCV provides rental assistance based on the household income. The HCV Program serves families throughout Phoenix.
In addition, the HCV program has the Family Unification Program, which serves families that are working through Department of Economic Security/ Division of Family Services. Referrals come strictly from Child Protective Service Case Workers.
Family Housing - Family Housing offers four apartment communities located throughout Phoenix.
Single-Family Homes - The Scattered Sites Program offers single-family homes located throughout Phoenix.
