  • Interested active duty personnel or veterans must complete the following to be considered:
    1. Contact a recruiter to complete a pre-screening form.
    2. Upon successful completion of pre-screening, the applicant will be emailed a background packet. Once it is completed and mailed back to the Phoenix Police Department, it will be reviewed by a background detective from the Employment Services Bureau. Only the highest qualified applicants will be invited, and only a limited number can participate each month.
    3. Out-of-state active duty personnel and veterans that are invited will be contacted by their background detective to coordinate the 1st trip.
