Apprenticeships
The City of Phoenix seeks to develop employees through a detailed classroom and on-the-job training model designed to educate apprentices in safe, efficient, economical, and customer-centered employment operations.
No experience is required. The City of Phoenix pays for and provides all training while the employee is employed full-time.

Learn to maintain, repair and install heating and air conditioning systems and components.

Learn to install, maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair industrial process control equipment.

Solid Waste Equipment Operator (SWEO) Apprentice
Earn a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and become a skilled SWEO.
