The Neighborhood Services Department (NSD) hosted its third annual Neighborhood Synergy Conference on Sept. 27, 2025 at the Marriott Phoenix Airport. The conference was designed for neighborhood leaders of neighborhood groups registered with NSD's database, called Neighborhood LINK. The conference offered breakout sessions for attendees to learn the latest on city programs and to be informed about current city processes that could assist with neighborhood challenges. The day will be kicked off by a keynote speaker, Jennifer Prophete, who will share her expertise on establishing and sustaining neighborhood groups and keeping residents engaged. The Neighborhood Synergy Awards Luncheon recognized some of the outstanding neighborhood groups and/or leaders from every council district.
The conference is by invitation only (and at no cost) to our neighborhood leaders as a "thank you" for their countless volunteer hours and tireless efforts. NSD could not have hosted an informational and fun conference for our neighborhood advocates without the generosity and support of this year's sponsors: APS, SRP and Wells Fargo. For more information about this conference package for neighborhood groups, please email yvette.roeder@phoenix.gov.
