Van Buren Street Enhancement Project

The Phoenix Street Transportation Department is asking for community input about a project that will improve safety and aesthetics along the Van Buren Street corridor from 7th to 24th Streets. The Street Transportation Department is not proposing changes to the lane configuration of Van Buren Street. Van Buren Street will continue to have two vehicle travel lanes in each direction with a center turn lane. Input from community members will be considered to shape the safety and beautification options the department will pursue.
